Its funny how a certain detail can be both classic and trendy, depending on the outfit or situation. Shoes with tassels are nothing new loafers, anyone? but throw some fringe on a stiletto or change its color on a flat sandal and viola! Youve instantly got an of-the-moment accessory. Gossip Girl actress Jessica Szohr walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in peep-toe booties with oversized tassels:
